The "mystery" man. When Letecia was interviewed by authorities, she mentioned a man named Eguardo (she later changed his name). She said she met him at a construction site and gave him the key code to the home. This is a fabricated event.

On January 27th, 2020, Gannon Stauch was reported as a runaway in Colorado Springs, Colorado, by his stepmother Letecia Stauch. Gannon's father, Al Stauch, was away for training (he's with the national guard).
Because Gannon was reported as a runaway, and was 11 years old...authorities didn't put out an amber alert.
Letecia was soon seen in an interview on TV (where she had her back turned). She wasn't seen helping in the search for Gannon. She would comb the true crime groups for information and then she left the state.
On March 2nd, Letecia was arrested in South Carolina for the murder of Gannon. His body wasn't found until March 20th, 2020. He was found stuffed in a suitcase and thrown over the bridge in Pace, Floria. Almost 1400 miles from home.
Documents show that Letecia traveled by a cube van rental through Pace, Florida and her cell phone pinged around the same location Gannon was dumped.

Her trial is set for Spring 2022.
